I picked up this book only because it was always coming as a recommendation for my favorite books like ‘Perfect’ and ‘Paradise’ by Judith McNaught (one of my favorite author) and also I was in a mood to read some 90’s contemporary romantic mystery book and this book served me right. I really liked the story, the characters, the suspense and the pace of this book. All were just in right amount nothing was over done. Faith was an amazingly strong character I loved the way she started from the scratch and went on to grow as strong self made women with no parents or anyone to guide her. Gray was nice character too but for me Faith overshadowed him. She really deserved all the happiness in the world after a rough phase, which only Gray could have given her. All in all I really liked this book and I will definelty be reading more from Linda Howard.
