The Devotion of Suspect X: A Detective Galileo Novel

Let me start of by saying that I really liked this book it had a good plot with some unexpected twists and turns, which is what I mostly expect in a crime fiction. The story starts of with a murder and the readers already know who has done it and its left to the investigators to find out about the details. This was something I did not expect and caught my interest. But having said that I felt somewhere all the main characters were not fully developed. There was lack of characterization which did not match the plot at times. I really wanted to know more about – Yakuso and Misato what kind of mother and daughter relationship they shared and what happened to Misato in the end? and also about Ishigami - why was the way he was and what made him to do the things he did?
